  16. Here is a list of some of the standing stories you may find
  17. useful, and what groups they appear in.  Some groups contain
  18. only standing stories, such as the clari.feature groups.
  19.  
  20. There are more standing stories than these, particularly in
  21. the financial and sports groups.  For example, in
  22. clari.sports.baseball there is a story on each major league
  23. game played each day.  The same applies to the other sports
  24. groups.  To find out more about these stories, simply read
  25. the groups and note the slugwords.
  26.  
  27. A number of other stories, particularly in the sports
  28. groups, are seasonal.  For example, around playoff time, you
  29. will find regular features on the progress of any sports
  30. playoff or series.
  31.  
  32. Some stories are not officially standing stories, yet they
  33. come all the time.  For example, you can be sure there will
  34. be a story slugged clinton just about every day about Bill
  35. Clinton.
  36.  
  37. Many of these features are daily.  Weekly stock reports come
  38. Friday evening.  Music charts and other entertainment
  39. statistics usually come Friday morning.
  40.  
  41. Below you will see a list of these stories, along with the
  42. usual newsgroup for the story (with the "clari" prefix
  43. removed), and the slugword for the story.  Most local standing
  44. stories are not included here.
